The Root is our First Chakra. Muladhara.  This is where we began and where we are from.  When we are grounded and strong, we can accept who we are and appreciate and love ourselves.  Like the trunk of a tree, each layer tells a story of who we are.  We follow the flow and rythm of Earth.  Just like a tree we grow and we fall. But we still remain part of Earth.  This piece of wood was found by my Son Shane, on a morning stroll in Kenai Alaska.  Amazing the natural treasures we have if we just take the time to stop and look .
